Tokyo kitchen,Citta mall's first time visit

It's my first time visitng Tokyo Kitchen.Fall in love with the ambience when first step into the restaurant. Before stepping into the restaurant, everyone will be able to see a poster resembles 'Hello kitty' at the main entrance. We only ordered sushi on that night.
the picture was captured from inside

lobster salad roll, which comes in four pieces ,RM9.90

Ah,I forget to mention the taste was irresitible, nicely done.AS the outer layer was a tempura and lobster salad and shrimp roe gives a heavenly, good combination that goes with the rice.
We also ordered chicken kimchi roll.
topped with kimchi and cucumber, this sushi has chicken wrapped inside,at RM6.90

Overall:The price for the sushi is affordable, longing to visit next time.

Hanazen,Jaya One

Speaking of sushi,I'm a big fan.Hanazen was visited on a hot Saturday afternoon.
It is a good place for meeting up friends here. The price ranges from RM 4 to 100 for sushi, rice set,... and so on.
Green tea is refillable.

What was ordered on that day was this...
Loving the way on how this is presented.

For those who prefer gyoza ,which is also known as guo tie in chinese.
Not sure what's the filling but I am able to taste some bits of meat, cabbage in it.
It was neatly arranged in a row of five on a plate.Erm..eh wait..six  actually.

The chawan mushi texture is not up to my liking, but still acceptable

cuttlefish sushi,if I'm not mistaken
raw fish.it melts when bitten thoroughly..
still ok,but if you want the fresh one,you need to visit fish market of Japan to taste..
the set I've ordered consists of a miso soup, salad, chawan mushi,a bowl of rice and salmon fish
Sadly to say that the salmon fish wasn't that fresh.
A closer look
A typical scene that one can find when visiting Japanese restaurants.
 Fancy of Japanese wine,anyone?
P/s:Comments are based on my own opinion.Try at your own harm..Till then..

Steamboat @ Bee Hoo ,SS15

Trying the luck to have a dinner at Two Peso Steamboat in SS2, but due to the long queue up,then comes the decision to head over to SS15 to try Bee Hoo steamboat.
The following photo shows 2 person portion, which is fulfilling.Priced at RM19.80 per person if  I'm not mistaken.
A closer look for the steamboat ingredients. One thing in mind:Fresh.
see this is a huge portion, right?it comes with generous amount of seafood like prawns, fishnoodle, beancurd skin and etc..
Besides,it also comes with mee hoon and yee-mee
mee hoo and yee-mee
Spicy Chilli paste was hot and fiery enough, while the other one one taste sweet, sour ,is very apettiting though.I even mix the two sauces together to give more rich flavour

P/s:They say the fried meehoon is one of the recommended dish.Perhaps to try on my next visit...

What to eat in Jalan Tun Razak?

What to eat when we are at Ampang Park LRT or when we are around Jalan Tun Razak?
It can be

  1. Ampnag Park
  2. Intermark

In Ampang Park mall, visit Cozy House or the food court.
I've tried Cosy's house chicken rice, which costs around RM10.60. If you grab the other lunch set,it will be around this price too.Their steak costs around RM30++~ RM50++.
roast chicken rice at Cozy Corner

braised rice with chunks of sotong, chicken slices, prawns topped with enormous amounth of corn starch gravy
the menu->a boy with red cheeks...
Apart from that ,I've visited the food  court in the mall itself and tried the food at a vietname cuisine stall.Ranging from beef noodle, beef stew noodle, beef ball noodle, chicken noodle and fish noodle, they are priced between RM5 to RM6. The order is served with fish sauce, bean sprouts(up for own choice) or either order a pair of spring rolls for RM2.50. There is a shop operator,Vietnamese lady, who speaks Malay.

left:sambal chilli paste right:sour sauce
Next, let's hunt for food in food court located in Intermark.
It is within walking distance for working patrons who work nearby Ampang Park area.
Look for Soo Pin Fish head noodle stall.Order their specialty which is fish head noodle.
bill of the day,The beep sound from the alert machine represents order is ready.

fish head mee hoon soup, loving the creamy, milky soup that goes with fried fish slices, loving the chilli too

Craving for Chinese food.(rice,noodle,etc...)?Head over to Lam's kitchen, where one can find food such as sweet sour rice with chicken 'yong chau' fried rice & etc here.

'yong chau' fried rice

fried rice, forget the name for this, but it has generous amount of pork

Besides,i've also tried Dodo Korea. In an afternoon, there were many busy working adults, who worked nearby who were spotted queuing up in front Dodo Korea

this lunch set consists of fried chicken, curry chicken, watermelon, fried vermicelli, costing at RM13,worth it?

To be continued...
More to be updated soon when a new place is figured out...
P/s:Not sure if the prices are a  bit pricey for you ,and it's inclusive of GST.
